“Today I went to a technological improvement meeting. Much of the day was dedicated to music. I listened to music throught many different devices. It was a rewarding expérience. Indeed, I like new technologies and I will graduate in july from music degree.
During a congressional hearing, someone claimed the headphones are dangerous for ear health. He wanted everybody to turn down their mp3 player sound volume and think about the futur of their ears. By the time he finished his sentence, everybody turns off their mp3 player. The rest of the conference was interesting but I couldn’t take too many times. I had to go back home to write a little text for school about this day. All my days are not like that, sometimes I go to concerts or I play music with friends. I was a part of a band but I step down because of the lavish expenses I did throught the music instruments I broke. So I fled the rest of my band. Althought playing music in a band miss me sometimes, I prefered use my rage into something more helpful. That’s why now I do sports. I play tennis, basketball and football. I’m just hampered by my size in basketball. Despite this, I’m a good player. All my trainings are after school. I due back at 8pm, I do my homeworks then I lay down. My studies are composed of science where I study physic related to music and art where I create my own music. I vividly cleared the end-of-semester exams but the end of the year is not finished.
On september I will go to Japan for tourism with four friends. It’s hard to fix what we will do. There will be a lot of things to do and see. There will be an usher-in of a new music store with a famous Japan band, a child festival with flying fish, 60’s dancers with old motorbikes in the street and a lot of temples to visit. At the very most we will see Tokyo and Kyoto. Even if we have a month, we have not enought money to travel a lot in the country. We don’t want to go in debt because of travelling more. That’s why we have to strinkingly prepare our trip. Moreover, with our summer jobs we will have barely enough money to pay the travel by air and the food in Japan. I will struggle not to spend a lot of money. Especially because there is a thriving manga goodies market. That will not be a reason to not peek inside some store. One time, I’ve seen a reporting about Japan. I was stunned by the fact that Japan keep ancestral traditions and monuments whereas they are at the cutting edge of technology. An other great point for japan culture is the fact that people are really respectful about cleanliness, people and nature. This is a really different way of thinking. People bow to hail someone and speak politely. Despite the little quantity of holidays, I would really live and work over there. I won’t be in a hurry flying back to France.”
